I used a photograph of a face to create this version in Photoshop Elements. It was used as the subject to draw.
The first version had lines done lightly. Eyes are hard to capture.
This second version was done in heavier darker lines. Better. But the eyes are still kind of spooky.

Indeed it does. It also diverts attention from things that are negative.
