Peruvian Ceramics

Our trip to Peru in October 2018 exposed us to new artwork and designs. The patterns in my drawing used different hardness of graphite pencils, with charcoal pencil used for the darkest places. The specific inspiration came from a very old ceramic pot (below) in the collection of the artist Pablo Seminario in the town of Urubamba in the Sacred Valley of the Inca. We visited his studio to see how his beautiful ceramics are made.

  1. This is nice.
Frustratingly, I’m having trouble convincing wordpress that I am logged in and can leave a message….that may be why you aren’t getting any comments. I’m having that trouble on several people’s sites. 😦

    1. Are you getting replies to your comments? Have you done a recent restart/reboot? Cleared cache and history?

      1. Yes, if I can persuade WP that I’m logged in, I can leave messages and then they are returned. Frustrating to have to do it every time though. I don’t know about clearing cache. If I do that won’t I lose things I don’t want to lose? One day I cleared my history and then I had to reset all of my saved passwords. That was a bummer.

      2. I usually use Safari. There are a few other sites that are not working as they should for me as well, so I suppose I should get used to firefox. I’ll never buy an Apple again, that’s for sure.

      3. Actually, I am. I took my laptop into the Apple store and the guy found a bunch of malware, which he cleaned up for me, but I still have trouble logging into my bank, even with a new password.

      4. Stupid Apple. They just don’t care what crap they sell you now. This will be my last one.
